What to get next?

I'm currently finishing the story arcs on my Temp toon (actually liking it more than I thought!) and this time around I used escorts. Now I am looking for something new to try, maybe on a new toon. What to play though is causing a lot of indecision in my mind, therefore I thought I'd ask my fellow Captains.

What have I played before? I currently have:

• An unused Fed Tac lv60 (I was new and kept being blown to bits)
• A lv59 Tac Eng - my tank toon
• An unused lv60 Rom Eng - previous tank toon
• A lv58 Temporal Science - currently trying to get all rewards on her

What about ships? I own:

Fed - Arbiter, Icarus, Command Battlecruiser bundle and the lootcrate Andromeda (unclaimed so far).

Romulan - Tac T5 Scimitar and the Deihu.

Ideally I would like a decent DPS toon to go ham on, but I'm open to suggestions. I have 6000 zen and 247M EC to play with. No, I haven't tried Klingons as I'm just not a fan of the looks or the ships.
