I Can't Stop Thinking About This

So I'm not sure the context of the dream other than this disturbing part that I can't stop thinking about. Anyways have you ever nipped your finger while the skin is a little dried out and then pulled the torn skin away? Well it was like that. I pulled away this dey piece of dead skin on my thumb and there was this little hole. I thought it was strange that it didnt bleed so I looked closer and noticed something strange, I could see the inside of my thumb, like the bone, nothing else was there. I asked my husband to look and he grabbed my hand. When he grabbed my hand, the hole tore, and everywhere it tore I could see the bone. It was really disturbing. I can't seem to get the image out of my mind, which doesn't make sense at all. I've had worse dreams than that, far more disgusting and gruesome dreams, but this one is bothering me.
