House sitter didn't retrieve mail

My pet/house sitter did not pick up my mail for the two and half weeks I was gone.

I was just made aware of this and when I went to my mailbox there was no slip of any kind just some junk mail. I tried calling the 1-800 number but didn't hear my option.

I'm worried that there is important bills that I have not received because of this. What can I do?
