Expo Floor: When is the best day/time to go?

I've been going to PAX for a couple years now (usually on Friday) and it seems like the expo floor is always a total CF; long lines for everything, and very difficult to navigate with all the people. I've got Fri-Sun passes covered this year and was wondering if there is a "good" time to go where it isn't going to be COMPLETELY packed.
