Overwatch Network Icons

Hey i have a pretty good setup pc. I average around 45-60 ping in game with all things on low (competition edge). My only real question is about the network (orange) icons. Is there a concensus that these don't mean much? I have them constantly every game. But my internet is fine in everything, 100mpbs speedtest, it just irks me seeing it all the time. Does anyone else have this? also i live in Arkansas, USA, so not necessarily a bad location to servers. Internet provider is cox if curious. thanks
