New project ideas/Help (modded rat clone)

So, I've been tinkering with ideas to build a new pedal that I decided will be a rat clone with some mods, those being: -Extra input stage (think kinda like the catalinbread katzenkonig)

-switchable filter (with high pass/low pass option, maybe bandpass)

-clipping diode selection/clipping mode switch ("stock" diodes, assymetrical clipping, another set of diodes or bypassed diodes)

-Clean blend knob

So I come to you to ask for tips on how to tackle this mods (how to work the filter switching, which combination of diodes to use for each selection, doing the clean blend with the sparkle kind of circuitry or other way). Please give your input either by the "I think it would sound cool" or a technical stand point.
