UPDATE! - Wtf am I supposed to do at this intersection?

I'm very happy to provide an update to this post I made 7 months ago.

I put in a 311 request as you all suggested, but never heard anything. Nothing changed. I lost hope. For 7 months I used the left lane to go straight as I learned from my fellow garage parkers was ad hoc standard procedure at this light.

Then last week I noticed things were changing. The green light from the garage to the street was longer. The green right hand arrow seemed to be missing from the coming direction. I noticed a new sign on the right saying to yield to pedestrians when turning right. Progress! But it was still stupid and had really conflicting signs and arrows. Then straight and right turns were both allowed coming from the garage, instead of the former right only (no idea why left isn't allowed still but whatever, idgaf I'm a rebel if I need to go grocery shopping that day).

Saturday I noticed that the signs and the arrows have been completely and fully changed to reflect exactly what I said would make the most sense in that intersection. I somewhat doubt my 311 request 7 months ago had anything to do with it, as it's more likely the city and the university thought to review the intersection to create a safer situation for the upcoming completion of the dorms and buildings across the street, which will result in a lot more pedestrians. Whatever caused the review and subsequent fixing, I'm just so happy that it makes sense now.
