Remember Masq? What happened to them? Who were they?

Watching Totalbiscuit's Shoutcraft Kings tournament with my friend, we remembered a long time ago watching SC2 when the mysterious challenger Masq came in and shook things up. He beat IdrA and made him rage hardcore, then he beat WhiteRa and continued to dominate for a short while before disappearing off the face of the earth from the public competitive scene.

I did some googling and found out nothing, so to anyone who remembers, what happened to that guy? Did they ever turn up again? Was is just another pro player, and if so who was it? We're dying to know! Even looking back on those games now they were LEGENDARY! Truly fantastic games, would love to know what the story was with Masq.
