We open class with a prayer.

Today was my first day of classes at BYU. I was pretty excited because I think my classes are cool and I'm excited to read and learn new things. I quickly became less excited however when two of the classes were opened with a prayer. Then in one syllabus the professor used D&C quotes and Book of Mormon quotes to describe why it was good to take that class. I don't know why I didn't expect this.
