Need advice: Should I switch servers?

After a few months getting too occupied with Overwatch, I returned to this game. Partially because for some reason, the pings in Overwatch has risen up lately. So I went to HOTS and... my God. Since I'm at the Americans Server, but I'm Indonesian, my only hope is that I get to the Singapore server there. However, most of the time, even when playing AI, I get into either Central America or Brazil (even when I set my preferred region into Singapore!), that it was hell to land skillshots even against AI. It was a good thing I picked 'Play against AI', otherwise I would disappoint many.

I wouldn't want to make this the time I say "I quit HOTS". No. I like this game. However... I am wondering if it's worth it to change my Server of playing? Into Asia server? I did that to Overwatch and it mostly fixes my problem while retaining my stats. However... I think it worked differently in HOTS, that my level and hero collection would restart.

I wouldn't mind losing levels and golds and collections if that's how it is. But I'm not sure if there are any other options outside this. So tell me, should I switch servers?

Also if any of the Blizzard employees are listening... Is this a server ping problem throughout SE Asia? Just try to confirm this.
