Redoing what we did... a campervan project.
We've made a few posts in this subreddit sharing the process of building out a Ram ProMaster 2500 into a wheelchair accessible camper. We did it, it worked great but we had to tear most of it out and start over... all because we needed to relocate the wheelchair lift. You can see the original project on this page.
Having the lift in the side door left us with few parking options, so we had a new lift installed at the rear doors. Now we can park in any spot and still be able to use the wheelchair. Unfortunately, we had to remove the beds, batteries, the A/C and nearly all of the electrical. Now comes the fun part of rebuilding it.
The good news is we will do a much better job this time because we learned so much the first time. Anyway, if you're interested, you can follow along with us on the new build at this page. We'll try to do better documenting the build than we did the first time.
