[Social] I'm excited :]

So here's a basic run down of what happened. My friends and I decided to get some frozen yogurt after school last Wednesday. I was expecting to just have a casual hang out, except the girl working there (Tutti Frutti) is really cute. She also had my type of music playing.

Between the Elton John, The Rolling Stones, and The Who being played on the speakers, I was just lounging there minding my own business. So for most of the time I was chatting with my friends and ate mah froyo while I thought about how I'd eventually strike up a conversation and get her number.

Meanwhile,cI look over at my shoulder, I catch her eyes quickly dart. She was looking at me for sure. Obviously I can't just watch her every movement, but I was certainly trying to be observant. So after we leave, I make sure the door shuts behind us and I say to my friends, "Guys, she's cute. I'm gonna get her number". To which they say,

"Yeah, she's cute dude. Go for it! no balls!".

Then, they begin to mention, "I think she was looking over at you. You probably have a chance, she's was smiling".

"Jackpot. Maybe? I think I'll give it a go" I thought to myself over the course of the weekend. I also thought over as to how to approach her.

Anyways, I went again today and she was there! I have no clue when she works but I was fortunate enough to be there when she was. Unfortunately, however, a group of people around my age came in and it was apparent she was friends with them (They were all guys-I recognized them as they were seniors at my school last year). So they're all talking and whatnot and I honestly felt like I couldn't approach her and initiate a conversation. I mean, it's not as though I was nervous, I simply think it's awkward to just butt into a conversation with people I've never actually met. So, I just left for the night.

But right as I left, she shot me a smile and told me to have a good night (Or maybe I'm just crazy and think a simple smile is indicative of affection, whatever, inserts foreveralone.jpeg here). I smiled back and told her the same. There is always Wednesday though, I can come in and hopefully I can get her number then :)
