[recommendations] what's a good sample-based drum machine, which is easy to use but has good/unique soundpacks on it ?

hey! i would greatly appreciate if someone could recommend me an easy to use drum machine that is sample based. I've just started to get into producing music and I'm trying to make trip hop, lo-fi, experimental, shoegaze, alternative music. The casio Rz-1 while I know is an old drum machine i like how straightforward it is. I know that Maschines are very popular and I was wondering if they are worth all the hype. I was also in interested in the Elektron octatrack but its quite expensive, however has some very interesting sounds on it. I'm also thinking of the Novation circuit. I'm quite lost and would appreciate all recommendations and advice. thanks :-)
