Experience with the Huurcommissie?

Hi all,

Has anyone taken their case to the Huurcommissie and successfully had their rent reduced? My roommates and I are positive that we are overcharged for rent, and heard that the Huurcommissie is a possible way to get it reduced.

If anyone has advice on this or is willing to share their experience it would be a lot of help.
