Former #2 in my country - Rant

After going offline for some time like 6 years (work) ive came back to see how doto is going. The old gang is pretty splitted, kids, work, other hobbies. But we've managed to play few hours a week mostly weekends to check how it will go vs newer players. And i have to say... It's terrible almost every 5v5 was won by our side, people FLAME A LOT, system doesn't feel balanced at all, premium dotalicious leagues were by heaven and earth better.

To compare myself in solo environemt i was slammed with completly different approach - my teammates were almost always a lot less skilled than i would thought about someone making it to my team.

Disparity between 5v5 and 1v5 is huge. One is a straight 100% winrate, other is simply random (some people were even using some weird disconnect trick to leave games we were losing).

Overall im not impressed at all. The system that was made years ago in dota1 performed a lot better to match equal opponents. No random "Enemies highly skilled / opponents not or vice versa".

Mby im too old for this kind of entertainment. But i can understand now why MOBAs are recently viewed as most toxic communities - the system is even encouraging RAGE responses.
