biting getting out of hand...
My LO is 13 months old in a daycare. I am starting to have some problems with this place. He has been bitten 5 times in the last 6 weeks. Not always by the same kid. There are 3 teachers in the room and 12ish kids usually. The last 3 bites have been during a time when one teacher is occupied with another kid's diaper change. Is it ridiculous to bring this to their attention and request that they bring in another pair of eyes during diaper changes to prevent the biters from getting out of hand?
I know kids bite, I'm not really mad about that, but I'm a little pissed that they can't put 2+2 together and figure out a system to keep a good eye on the biters with 3 damn adults in the room. How much is too much? Would you be talking to the director already?
(thank you, btw, other bromo who shared the "biter's mom" side of this story a few months ago. no judgement on the little biters; they are just niños, trying to release their wiggles. these adults watching them are the ones I'm getting a bit mad at)
I'm also pissed that they decided my kid has a rash and can't come to daycare tomorrow until he gets a doctor's note, and there isn't even an inkling of a rash on him, but that's a whole different pile of ridiculous shit.
