Does anyone have advice for coming out to your neighbors?

So I live in your typical suburban community where I have a bunch of neighbors living close to me. We see them frequently but randomly and my kid plays with their kids, but there is no central communication thing like a Facebook page. I don't present female outside of my house yet but I want to(even though I'm pre-hrt). I'd like to come out to everyone to ease that process but I'm not sure how best to do it. Should I tell individual families we talk to the most? The people directly next to us? Go door to door? Or just wait till a bunch of them are outside and go out in a dress? I'd like to prevent any rumor mill that might get started. Just kinda let everyone know, and that I know they know. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this type of situation.
