Ask/Vent to/Berate a Teacher!

School

Hi parents,

Despite the collective sigh of relief, back to school still comes with it's own set of challenges, stress, and anxiety.

Last year, I got to chat with a group of parents and found they had a lot of questions regarding back to school and school in general, though some just needed to vent. Either way, many seemed relieved towards the end.

So I'm taking the show online. If there's something you (or your child) want to know about school in general, talk about a problem, find out what could possibly be a teacher's reason for x, or just want a leave an FYI that I'd be more than happy to share with fellow teachers, let me know!

Some disclaimers:

  • Due to me not being your child's teacher, my answers may be more general than you'd like.
  • I do not teach in the USA but am familiar enough with both curriculum and culture.
  • I can not ethically provide any sort of opinion related to medical issues (ADHD diagnoses for example).
  • I currently teach 4th grade.
  • I am one person so take any opinion with a grain of salt.

Whether you choose to participate or not, I sincerely hope you and your children enjoy the transition.

EDIT: Currently sleeping/working. Will respond ASAP.
