To Whom It May Concern:

Prevail Health Solutions is listed on Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America's "Partners" web page as an affiliate organization. While I applaud your outreach to military, paramilitary, and veteran organizations, I urge you to reconsider your affiliation with this particular organization. On 9/7/16, IAVA will host a "Commander-in-Chief Forum" at which Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have been invited to speak. Despite overwhelming veteran support for the only presidential candidate who opposes continued US military involvement in regime change, Libertarian Gary Johnson, an invitation to participate in the forum was not extended. Thousands of veterans, active duty military personnel, and other like-minded individuals have appealed to IAVA by telephone, e-mail, and social media (Facebook, Twitter) to include former Governor Johnson in the forum; however, IAVA has brazenly ignored this substantial outpouring of support, failing even to acknowledge that it is an important issue to veterans. Although IAVA is the self-proclaimed "leading post-9/11 veteran empowerment organization", their abject failure to support this critical veteran agenda emasculates, rather than empowers, the men and women who served (and continue to serve) in our military. Furthermore, The Restriction of Political Campaign Intervention by Section 501(c)(3) Tax-Exempt Organizations explicitly prohibits engaging "in an activity that favors or opposes any candidate for public office." IAVA has clearly prioritized the agenda of its board (such as co-founders, Yannick Marchal and Paul Rieckhoff, both of whom publicly endorse Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign) above the agenda of its members. I implore you, on behalf of the soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines who have served our nation, to strongly reconsider your relationship with this self-serving and decidedly partisan organization. If I may further clarify this complicated issue or otherwise be of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.

@JakeWoodUSA @wood.jacob As advisor to the May & Stanley Smith Charitable Trust, please consider that a supported charity (Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America) has blatantly failed in its mission to empower veterans, electing to emasculate them instead. Rather than acknowledge overwhelming veteran support for inclusion of presidential candidate, Gary Johnson, in their upcoming Commander-in-Chief Forum, IAVA has elected to shutter its doors for the week leading up to the event. Imagine if the brave men and women of the US Armed Forces had demonstrated similar cowardice when fighting for our freedom.
