[Update] Ish Student with a question

About a month ago i submitted https://www.reddit.com/r/Teachers/comments/4ulsu0/a_student_with_a_question/ Today was my first day of school and I was sorta too nervous to approach any of the teachers. Do you guys think it would mean less to them if i wrote them a email? or would building up my courage and speaking to them in person mean way more? Thanks again guys
