Sorting system using golems
Thaumcraft 5 is a major improvement from 4, except when it comes to golems. I have a problem that I would like to be seen by Azanor.
I've made a sorting system for every item and block in Minecraft and Thaumcraft. In the attached picture is a 11x11 grid of droppers. Each dropper has an adv. store seal on it, with every item/blocks in a white list. Under the droppers are hoppers that feed into magic mirrors that lead to golems that will separate the items further to their own segregated chests. I have a series of hoppers that feed into 3 droppers on the 3 sides each with a single empty seal on them. I have 2 golems each for every empty seal, and the idea is they will sort the items into the dropper that allows that item to be added. I have another dropper on the 4th side that accept all items. This is to allow things with durability damage, items in add ons and things I didn't specify to be placed in the 'other' chest.
Here's the problem, they don't do that always. The golems run to the seal with nothing in it when they should be placing the item in a dropper with, say, gold coins or iron. And when the droppers are full of items, it takes a while, too long, for the golems to pick them up and place them. I have all the droppers in the 11x11 grid set to priority 5, and the single seal that is suppose to accept only rejects at -5.
I've spent a lot of time making this sorter system, and it's the only way to sort items I've found, especially the amount of items i want processed. All the golems have perception, wheeled, have haul on them, they clearly see the seals, they just act irregularly and put items in droppers they aren't meant to.
How do you auto sort items in Minecraft/Thaumcraft?
