Broke a tooth and I don't know what to do.

Broke a tooth today and I quite literally don't know what to do about it. I don't have insurance. I can't afford to get it fix and I don't qualify for assistance.

Insurance is a ripe off as well anyways. I looked into getting it for the future and they didn't seem very worth it. One was $30 a month and covered 40% up to $500 (at $30 a month you'd be paying $360 for the year anyways just to get a savings of $140?) another was $50 and covered nothing for the first full year. The following year it covers 20% up to $300 and the year after 40% of $500 at which point you have given that company $1800 for $800 of services.

I know roughly how much it cost to fix. I broke a tooth a few years back and it was $3200 all told but I had insurance through work then and only had to pay $1000. I don't have that much money. Maybe if I maxed out all my credit cards. Maybe. Even then I would have no way to pay them back. I would rather die slowly of infection than do that, which is currently my only option right now.

I'm not expecting anything from this post I just needed to let it out. I'm just frustrated and don't know what to do. I can't afford dental care and can't afford insurance for it. The plans that actually start paying for real dental work start at $150 a month (80% up to $2000, which is entirely equivalent.)

So if anyone has any ideas that don't involve dying slowly of infection that would be greatly appreciated because seriously that's all I got.
