anyone know how to get a free/cheap replacement nuvaring for one that fell out? (needed stat...)

i finally got a nuvaring prescription after a ton of insurance issues over the past couple months and had all the yay i'm on birth control whoops still on my period sex over the weekend.

today i notice that the nuvaring....disappeared. i dunno. he got scared maybe. i think he probably took a nosedive into the toilet when i pulled out a tampon and i didn't notice. i even dug through the trashcan a bit in case it got caught on a tampon and i wrapped it up in tp and tossed it in there. gross gross going through my tampons from the past couple days gross i didn't throw them away yet nothing nada. must have gone down the toilet. i am so sorry for sticking those hormones in the water supply. but i am more sorry for any potential future children. we must stop you.

so, anyone know if there are any programs that can provide free birth control replacement for some that have been lost or broken? nuvaring is expensive and i can't get another dose through my insurance until next month. i don't even think my prescription allows me to get a refill without waiting 3 more weeks.

i can't take oral contraceptives because 1) they fuck me up and 2) i have inflammatory bowel disease and am currently flaring so any oral medication probably has decreased effectiveness. otherwise i could probably switch to a cheap pill for a month.

i did eat some plan b, which probably won't work too well because of aforementioned intestinal troubles. but hopefully starting the nuvaring right after menstruation started plus some not-so-effective EC will keep me safe.

i was really excited to not worry about condoms with my monogamous partner please help me with the sex!
