Putting Clay in a furnace with charcoal hardens it, while doing it with coal smelts it into brick.

STAINED CLAY: Made from adding dye to Clay Balls. Stained Clay Block: Made from combining Stained Clay into a block or adding Clay Blocks with dye. Texture is same as clay, but brightly colored. Hardening this is the new way of creating Hardened Stained Clay.

HARDENED CLAY: Hardened Clay Ball: Made from Hardening Clay Balls or putting Hardened Clay in a crafting table. Can be used to craft Hardened Clay or Flowepots. Stained Hardened Clay Ball: Used in the same way, except dyed.

CERAMICS AND BRICKS: Stained Flower Pots: Made with Hardened Stained Clay Balls. Stained Bricks: Made from smelting Stained Clay Balls. Stained Brick Blocks: Made with Stained Bricks.
