Anyone else not having luck with the A14 beta?

Steam updated while I was at work the other day, I followed the directions in the forum post for opting into A14 Beta, restarted steam, started the game, A15 in the top corner. Closed steam, restarted computer. Opened steam, saw A14 next to rimworld, started game. Same thing A15 in the top left corner.

Should I just delete local files and start from scratch? Or is there something that I am missing?
