[Back Again] General Story

Fifteen-year-old Kyle Mercer is summoned to another world to destroy evil. Six years later, he comes back. Kyle has a sister, 18, named Ellie, but his parents split when he disappeared.

Kyle teleports to the inside of family's old home. He appears in the hallway in a flash of light and walks downstairs. There is a family eating breakfast and they scream when they see him. The police are called and Kyle waits patiently for them to arrive.

At the police station, Kyle is put into a cell. The POV changes to an officer. The officer looks on the computer and finds the missing person case for a Kyle Mercer from six years ago. Using fancy computer stuff, the projected 21-year-old picture looks very much like the actual. With this, the officer contacts Mr. and Mrs. Mercer. POV change to another officer. They have a sack of gold and silver coins and two vials with red liquid in them. The coins are confiscated under criminal forfeiture, and the vials are sent for testing.

Mrs. Mercer comes to the police station to get Kyle and takes him to her home. She is in shock and cannot believe that he is back, and after such a long time. At the house, Kyle meets Ellie and they all have dinner together. POV change to Ellie, she doesn't trust Kyle, or that he is her brother. The mother says she will handle things.

A week later, Kyle is riding in the passenger seat of Ellie's car on the way to college with her. Under a deal with the local college, Kyle can go to classes with Ellie to help integrate back into society.
