The game that just keeps on giving. Finally jumped into ToO, and it was just as rewarding as it was punishing.

For some context - I am a beta player that quit around TDB, and came back a few months ago.

I've been playing the game religiously for the past few months, and hit 335 a few weeks ago. However for almost my entire Guardian career I have stuck solely to PvE (with the exception of IB). I was always too scared to even try my luck in Trials. I had looked for someone to carry me to the lighthouse, but never found anyone willing or free to do it. The lighthouse did - and still does - seem to be unreachable.

Myself and 2 friends decided to give it a go, expecting fully to be grounded into mincemeat before being shoved up Brother Vance's ass. But, we won our first game! And we won a few more after that too. We lost more than we won, but in the even games it was so much fun.

So, from a Guardian that felt like there was no more content to sate my thirst until the release of RoI, thank you Bungie for proving me wrong. Maybe some day I'll manage to go flawless and hit the lighthouse.

TL;DR: Yes, you will get pommeled in ToO. But that's okay, it's fun. Get pommeled, and try your best to push back.
