Quick question about jesus...

Does the reddit atheist community (for lack of a better term) believe there was a guy called jesus? Not the magical mumbo jumbo part, but that a guy called jesus walked around back then talking about a made up diety that later spawned a fictional novel about fish a whores?

Not using this question as a means for a soap box or anything. Just curious
