Tips on growing alone spiritually..?
I recently moved back home to a small town where spirituality consist of what the bible says and only that. Although I do not deny or condemn that sort of spirituality, it is something that I can no longer grow from (going to church every sunday, listening to one man give his opinion.)
I won't be here forever, and I plan on moving to a place where spirituality is more likely to be diverse and welcoming, but I was wondering what I could do in the meantime to further my spiritual journey alone? When I first entered spirituality I had the help of a long-distance girlfriend who was at a deeper level of spirituality which allowed me to dive deep rather quickly. Due to long-distance we decided it was better to let the universe see where time takes us and focus on self-growth. I'm very welcoming to this, but I would just like some opinions on the best way to do so?
I'm buying more books that, and trying to discuss spirituality in small ways to my community, but it's a very tedious process. But then maybe that's what this time should be about? Slowly exploring my self and allowing the lessons to manifest on my own.
Let me know what you guys think! I was really diving into deep spirituality just two months ago and now I feel at a slight standstill although I know always my truth that never fades. Hoping this community can be a guide as well!
