[HELP] Value Casting rod (~$120)?

Help

Hey guys, I've recently gotten back into fishing now that some of the local spots have water again. I've realized i need to put together a new combo that i don't necessarily have to baby. I have a curado 201e7 and a 3 year old Shimano Crucial that I like when I'm fishing near the car, but hiking along creeks and around steep reservoirs I'm far to ginger with it.

I'm a shimano fan, but decided to branch out for this one. I've pretty much decided on a Daiwa Tatula CT for my reel ($100 ebay). I can't seem to decide on a rod. I have a heavy stick I (rarely) use for frogs and heavy jigs/punching/ect. I typically carry a spinning rod with me for lighter baits like weightless worms, shakey head/ned rig, drop shot.

My casting rod is used for larger plastics, t-rigs, 3/8oz jigs, soft plastic swim baits, and only occasionally spinnerbaits/lipless crankbaits.

I'm sure this is a frequent question but, for what it's worth, I'm looking for a ~$120 ~7" Medium Heavy Fast rod that is good value; light and balanced, tough, price appropriate components, and sensitive. On the warranty, I'm fine with 3-5 years as i figure at $120 I'll have gotten my money's worth by the time the warranty's up.

I'm looking at the daiwa tatula 6'10" MH F just to try a daiwa, as well as the st. croix Mojobass, and phenix maxim. Any experience and advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!
