[LFG][UK] D&D5e

LFG

I'm pretty much new to the game, although I've read most of the rules already.

My friend is going to start DMing a campaign with a few friends, me included. I've created a character already, and we played a practice battle tonight, but due to someone being unreliable and someone else only having one evening free every two weeks, it's looking like it's going to take forever to get going.

I'd like to join an online game - I'm shy, and also feel pretty awkward talking thru a mic, but I'd hopefully get over it. If/when I do, I've got a sense of humour and I'd like to think I come across as pretty friendly.

I'd like to find any game (D&D5e preferred as I've already just learned it!) with a DM that splits it evenly between roleplay and combat - as in, no campaigns that are 100% hack n slash.

Edit: Also, would prefer a campaign that is 'easy' (as in, encounters are set up so that there's never a high chance of death) and where I can choose my own class, etc. But I'll go with whatever - I don't want to be picky.

Hope I've included enough information in this post!
