Quick question about how first outbreak progresses. Does this sound like a normal progression for a first outbreak?
I had posted another question on here, and indicating I don't think it is HSV 2, but now I have it in my head and am doing a bunch of research because I had unprotected with a pretty loose chick. about two weeks before this.
I'm curious if this is a typical timelines

So,
Day 1 (8 days ago). I noticed a small scab on my penis. I've had a scab there before from over masturbation so I didn't think anything of it. I actually picked it off and continued to masturbate. Like a dumbass.
Day 2: Fine, a little sensitive in that initial area but no blisters or anything, didn't notice anything else unusual down there. Masturbated that day.
Day 3: I think I noticed another area of my shaft starting to get sensitive. No blisters though. Just red. No pus, no blisters. All and all fine though.
Day 4: Now it's starting to be slightly more sensitive on the other side of my shaft, where my fingers and hand would normally touch. But no blisters. Just red. Looks like I also skinned that area or scraped it.
Day 5: It bothers me a bit now. Not debilitating or on the top of my mind, just know it's there. Mainly because I know I'm going out and wouldn't be able to hook-up (what I'm trying to say physically I'm not noticing it all that much) Also masturbated this day
Day 6: It bothers me but not terribly but more than the day before. But I still go for a really long hike where my groin is rubbing up on my gym shorts and I'm sweating a lot. And from time to time is itches and bothers me. But for the most part I'm fine.
Day 7: NOW I NOTICE IT. The area is very red. Sweaty under my shaft. My scrotum is now red and sensitive. Lumpy as well, not blisters. It hurts to touch though like a skinned knee. I put a piece of toilet paper in between my penis and scrotum so the two don't touch. And to absorb any moisture.
Also this is the point where I first begin to think "fuck, do I have herpes?" It never dawned on me before this. So I start looking it up on google images. None of the images look like what I have though.
I don't have blisters, it's not really clumped together in one spot. Its more spread down the bottom shaft of my penis, at the base and front of my scrotum where my penis touches it.
Day 8: It burned a little, and slightly tingled, itched. But looked like it was now starting to heal a very slight bit. The skin was drying. I also put neosporin on the area
Day 9 (TODAY): It looks better, feels better. Still sensitive. Still no bumps. It's not sweaty under my shaft. But now I have blister on my index finger and it's got me think, "fuck, is this herptic whitlow"
It's absolutely feeling better now and looking better.
Anyways, does this sound like a normal progression for a first outbreak?
