World Bank Development Report, 2044

North America:

Conflict in the Pacific has slowed down, and AAMCO initiated tremendous measures for war economy, and general infrastructural development. Pacific minefields heavily hamper shipping, but overall conflict has decreased.

Central America and the Caribbean:

While AAMCO is still at war, the Caribbean and Central America prove to be a more peaceful investment zone, particularly given Gran Colombian non-involvement with the conflict, and the removal of Chinese bases. Merging of currencies and nations has provided the region with small, but notable, economic growth

South America:

Neutrality and development are the name of the game in South America, and it seems to be paying off in the region.

Northern Europe:

The conflict with Denmark continues, and major regional deployments are causing a great deal of stress on the region. The beginning of the rebuilding of France, however, signals a potential new era.

Eastern Europe:

Conflict between the USSR and the MTC has pushed into Eastern Europe by proxy, and the region is largely perceived as a battlefield, thanks to Polish efforts, and general mobilization in the area.

Mediterranean:

Conflict in the Mediterranean Sea has slowed down, but tremendous damage and disaster in Turkey continues to propel the region further into economic downturn.

Western Africa:

Western Africa remains a bastion of development and growth, similar to many Subsaharan regions.

Central Africa:

Large-scale investment driven by Equatorial Guinea and the USLA has helped with an uptick in economic growth.

Southern Africa:

Silence.

Eastern Africa:

Am emerging union between Ethiopia and Somalia hopes to bring economic stability and growth to the region.

Western Asia:

Western Asia has cooled down, with a new regime in Iran, but there is still a surplus of conflict in the Arab Commonwealth.

Central Asia:

The rise of the Islamic State of Khurasan has propelled the region into economic downturn.

Southern Asia:

India is restored, but posturing towards Pakistan on all fronts maintains the region in a shaky economic position.

Eastern Asia:

The war in the Pacific has slowed down, and with it the Mekong Union and China have begun various economic protocols, while Korea and Japan rebuild and develop their nations. War is still present, and its economic impacts still felt, but less so than before.

Southwest Pacific:

Further development in the Indonesia-Philippine Union has resulted in a great deal of regional prosperity.
