Telecom provisioning a decent starting gig?
Just graduated with a BS in Econ, wanted to get into something more along the lines of analytics/forecasting, but options are limited where I live. Landed a job provisioning for an IT company: basically actively managing telecom install orders in SAP/Excel/SalesForce all day. My question is: it seems like many of my fellow provisioners do not have degrees and there's not much mobility going on. Will this kind of work be an asset to my resume if I was to relocate in a year or two seeking a job as a systems or business Analyst?
