Artificial-IDs Review: SC O21
##Hey guys, I just got my ID + dupe in the mail. I've been very impressed with (one of) them so far, so I thought I would give a review!
#Communication: [10/10]
I only had to communicate with the vendor after I realized that I accidentally put the wrong shipping zip code. I was able to rectify the issue over Reddit PM. Artificial was very quick to reply and didn't give me a hard time for being stupid.
#Cost: [9/10]
I ordered during the promo period and I was able to snag a SC O21 + dupe for only $55, solo. A pretty damn good value that's pretty hard to beat.
#Shipping: [10/10]
Shipping speed was phenomenal. I ordered on 8/24 at around 11:00 PM and the pair got here before 3:00 PM today. The turnaround time was under 5 days, and considering I didn't opt for priority shipping, that's pretty crazy.
#Stealth: [5/10]
Not really applicable. I didn't opt for advanced stealth because no one else here would mess with my mail. There really was no stealth to speak of, but it doesn't really matter because it's pretty easy to get through USPS.
#Template: [8/10]
On both IDs, the color seems about just right. The holograms do seem a bit too vibrant compared to a few scans online, but it shouldn't really matter here in my college town in VA. The microtext is impressive, as are the trees and the crescent moons.
On a small note, the area where the laminate starts is the not the same between the IDs; there seems to be more plastic exposed on the right ID than on the left ID. Besides that, the cards are identical.
On the poorer of the two cards (the one on the left), there's a bubble under the laminate that's pretty noticeable under bright light. I'll get a reprint done for this card, but I'm fine for now because it's a dupe B^)
Photo: I'll see if I can find our blacklight in the shed to review the UV. Might not be able to do that any time soon though.
#Photoshop: [9/10]
Holy crap, Artificial (his team?) managed to take my crappy photo with all my flyaway hair and the huge right-side shadow and work with it. Those shadows were added and the background was removed pretty nicely. The shadows that were added look even looks better than the ones on my real U21 VA ID. The hair does look a bit blurry above my shoulders but that could've been avoided if I didn't feel rushed by Artificial's promo.
Overall grainyness and quality looks about right compared to the scans. My face looks pretty oily from the flash, which was kinda an accident while taking the photo. Who doesn't sweat in SC on the way to the DMV anyway?
The signature a bit too thin. My fault though.
#Scanning: [9/10]
Seems to scan about right using BCS, when compared to what other reviewers say.
However, both cards scan with 7 digits on the zipcode instead of 9, which may or may not be an issue.
#Conclusion: [9/10]
The poorer of the two will definitely get singled out because of the bubble. However, the other should have no trouble getting through our local bouncers. Thanks so much, Artificial!
