How to continue to affirm the TTC decision
My husband and I have had several honest conversations about timing and other factors that we may need to consider before TTC. We have decided that what doubts we have may not be any less years from now and that it is important to us to be younger(ish) parents for our own benefit but also so that his ailing father and my aging grandma may get the opportunity to meet their (great) grandchild. Timing is never going to be perfect so why wait? I type that and I feel confident that we are making the right decision.
With that, I am stopping taking BC this month. But even just typing that I get waves of anxiety. Do we need yet another conversation about this? Are we overlooking something? What if I regret this and see this as some sort of premature decision? This type of back and forth logic, doubt, and confidence is so confusing!
For those of you who may have just made the decision to ttc or remember such feelings, what did you do to affirm your decision in moments of doubt? What other advice might you have? Thanks!
