Controller is not being detected on pc
So I went out and bought a Xbox One Controller to be used on my PC for specific games. I asked a friend and they said that i do not require to put in batteries since it would be usb connected the power will be fine. Once I plug in the controller, my pc does not detect that something is connected even though the controller's xbox logo is flashing white. I looked through my Device Manager and the controller is not listed at all. There is a windows Xbox Accessories manager, but when I open it, it requires me to plug in the controller so it can be synced to my pc. Well guess what? My pc does not recognize the controller at all. Someone help! Running windows 10 after the anniversary update.
