My first time building a PC. I have a list of parts that I would potentially include, but any suggestions with major price cuts with only minor performance cuts are welcome.
###Build Help/Ready:
Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)
Yes.
What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.
99% gaming, I want to use VR in the future without upgrading anything.
If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)
I want max settings at 60 fps for current games, I will be using a 1080p TV for the near future as a monitor but I may buy a 4k later on.
What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?
$1300 MAX, would like to cut some potentially heavy corners
In what country are you purchasing your parts?
US
Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).

As I said, this is the first PC i will build for myself. I have helped out a couple of friends now, so I have a good idea of the assembly that is involved but I didn't have any role in selecting parts. I do want to keep the full tower for use in future builds, but any other parts where I can cut corners can be switched out. Also, I don't have many steam games yet so I don't need a HDD yet, and I will buy one later. Any suggestions are welcome.
