Is Battlefield 3 worth it on PC?

I checked Origin earlier yesterday and saw that a HUGE sale was going on, including most of the Battlefields, but I was only interested in 3.

Is it worth the 5 dollars? Should i get Premium? Does it have Mods/Community Servers?
