Kiddo cried while LEAVING school...

So it was the first day today. His first day ever at school. He's in kindergarten. They're having half days for the first week to get the kids accustomed to transitioning back to school. So I went to pick him up after almost 3 hours and the second he saw me he looks at me like "what!? No... GO HOME. WHY ARE YOU HERE?!? I wanna LIVE AT SCHOOL". And he just breaks down crying. All the other parents thought it was cute and went AWWWW.

My crazy ass is like, "fuck. I hope no one thinks I'm just a shit parent or something. PLEASE DONT THINK MY KID HATES ME. HE JUST WANTS TO LEARN". As I walked away holding his hand telling him we will go back tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure this is going to happen every day the rest of this week too. Fuuuuck 😒
