[GA]Legality of receiving medical marijuana from mail[CA]
Hello. I am from GA. Marijuana is not legal here (medicinal or recreational). I have some medical problems that doctor's prescribe pills for; however, they don't work and only cause secondary problems. I've traveled to Colorado and tried recreational marijuana and it was a life-changing experience. For the first time in many years, I was able to live happily and normally without any symptoms. Unfortunately, there's no possibility for me to relocate any time soon. I have a brother who lives in CA and has told me that he is willing to get a medicinal marijuana license and ship some to me so that I can have it in GA; however, we're concerned about the legality. I completely understand that we would be breaking the law and I have everything to lose from doing this. If our carrier (UPS/Fedex/USPS, etc..) were to see that our package contained illegal substances and if the return address/name was fake as well as the recipient's name (mine), would that remove any real evidence of us committing the crime? Any advice/insight would be appreciated. Also, I'll accept any criticism of this act (it may help talk us out of it!)
