Some questions about delivering

So, I used to deliver for a place over the Summer for about a month a few years ago and now I'm delivering again in a new area soon. So here's the deal:

  1. at my old place since I was working mainly with friends, I never really learned how to take orders or learn how to clock in because they said some of the software was outdated or something and was difficult for new drivers with the menu of the time so they did it for me. At my new place, I'm going to be solo with no friends or anyone I know and I'm worried that I'll mess up an order or not clock in right or something. When I go in for the interview, should I bring this up subtly somehow? Play around with it during down time? Wing it from my little knowledge of before?

  2. GPS vs Map. My first place had the largest radius in the county and I always used GPS for the whole month even though it got me lost to new developments and had me take long ways. However, since then I'm thinking GPS units got way more advanced and also I'll be delivering in a smaller area (4-5 miles out most of the time). Should I rely on a new GPS system or learn with the map?

  3. Do delivery drivers tend to have to clean up bathrooms at all for chain places or do they get a guy for that?

Thanks in advance. Although I'm sort of a faux-noob at delivering I'm kind of excited about it again.
