Do you remember when you "woke up"?

This is my first post but something that has been on my mind for a few days. Do you remember the exact situation or say, the events that led up to, your "awakening". To be clear on what I mean by "woke up" and "awakening": Basically the realization that the world and the universe we perceive is not what we have been taught to believe. Or something along the lines of a realization of self and consciousness.

Okay so I will try to start off this thread by sharing my story on this topic. I don't think I can define my awakening to a single moment of "everything coming together", more so a series of these moments that gradually took place over the course of a few months (or my whole life if you believe in destiny 0_o). However, when I do try to think of the most defining moment in the whole process my mind always goes to one very specific situation that has stuck with me and remains so vivid in my memory.

I was sitting there with my long time best friend at his beach house in the attic space converted into a small (badass) bedroom. We were tripping relativly hard on some purple micro dot, had the entire room covered by one of those lazer box things and the song that was playing was "Take it easy" by Matstubs (https://youtu.be/j_z8IFKGvq4). (The bass in that small room was sooooo good). I guess to put it simply, it kinda seemed like everything just made sense. I don't exactly know how to describe what I was feeling other than a sense of wholeness that I have never really felt before. It was almost like I was meeting the "person" inside of me for the first time.

Ever since then it seems to me like I have been continuing to awaken to things I previously had been completely blind to. I have never told this story to anyone else. That being said, I have noticed changes in my friend as well. He seems more intuitive than before (not saying he was a dumb guy but he was just not one you would really peg as an intellectual based on how he acted). He also is no where near as eccentric (and sometimes annoying) as he used to be when hanging out with our group of friends. It seems like from an observation on his outward actions that he's become more "content" or maybe more well rounded behaving than before.
