Is Brett Keane another Chris Chan?

Brett Keane has a lot of similarities to Chris Chan:

Fat and poor hygiene

Doesn't work

Lives off the government and donations

Life is more than 50% videogames and/or making videos

Unattractive/Low intelligence

Falls for pranks/trolling

Creates a trolling feedback by responding/whining about trolling

Has a dedicated regular public flogging (Chrischan has the cwcki, Brett has DP)

The only noticeable difference is that Brett managed to marry someone. So props to Brett I guess.

What makes people go down this road of fail? Is there a name for this phenomena?
