Alumni association?

Hey all, I'm wondering if anyone knows about running a chapter of the alumni association? The Milwaukee branch is inactive and needs to be reinstated and I'm interested in it, but I need to know what kind of things that entails. I'm a grad student, I don't have the free time of a retired professional that I'm sure usually run these things.
