So I'm looking at a 2016 Chevy Impala...

I'm 24 yrs old, very stable work history, and this will be my first car. I never truly needed one as I stay close to my major city area and public transportation is a true gift from above, but I'm getting to the point where I'll need one for business and maybe a few road trips every now and then.

I test drove the 2016 Impala and it was pretty amazing. Smooth and clean and extremely great to look at. I just fell in love with it.

Right now it's priced at about $24,000 with everything I want on it. After exhausting all my options (discounts, what I'm willing to put down, family benefits, and talking with my bank) I'll have it priced at around 14,000 with everything said and done.

Now my bank is willing to front the rest with a solid 2.99 apr for the remaining term payments. The dealer however is also offering me the same. So I'm a bit confused on who to let do it.

On top of that is there any other things I'd need to know about owning a car?
