Does anyone have a spiralizer? What are your thoughts or favorite recipes?

Hey everyone!

A few days ago we received our Paderno spiralizer, and so far we have made baked "fries" twice. In both cases, they were baked rather than fried, so they ended up decent but more like very good homefries than like real fries. I'm sure if I fried them properly (twice fry with a cornstarch slurry) they'd turn out significantly better.

I'm also looking forward to not having to throw out broccoli stems anymore (we go through 2-3 crowns of broccoli a week).

The biggest flaw on this particular spiralizer is that, for things like apples, there doesn't look to be a good way to avoid the core of the apple.

As for recipes, we found the Inspiralized blog.

So, who has one? And what do you like to do with it? Any cool or avant garde ideas??
