Alternate route from Frederick to Rockville that's not 270?

I just started a new job down in Rockville, and the traffic during my travel time is absolutely horrendous. I used to commute to Germantown, so I'd only hit the bare minimum of 270 traffic, but now that I've experienced it proper I'd like to avoid it if at all possible. Does anybody know of any back road routes to get to Rockville from downtown? It's okay if it takes a little while, I just can't stand stop and go traffic, it drives me crazy.
