base/jungle/fossil collection - how to sell?

Hey guys, so my mother dug up my collection of pokemon cards from when I was a child. I actually had quite the collection, and was surprisingly organized for a 10-12 year old! Theyre all in excellent/mint condition with a few exceptions, and i have pretty much all of the base set. A lot of first edition and shadowless as well. I'd like to offload these in exchange for cash, but have no idea where to start. Do i go to a shop and sell the lot? do it via online? sell individually at the shop/online? For reference, im based out of Toronto Canada.
