1/18 scale advice

Hi all, been around the hobby for years and years, first post here though. Little bit of background, I've got an ext evader that I converted to brushless, an scx10, and a drift star I converted into a rally car.

I recently moved into my first house and am about an hours drive from the nearest track. Sooo what I'm thinking is that I would like to build a small track in my yard. I've got an area that is about 27x9.5 that would make sense to use. Thinking some like a basic figure 8 with a jump or two. This will literally be used as something to kill some time in the evenings and have some fun.

That space is obviously too small for the evader, and all other 1/10th trucks but, would that be suitable for an 1/18th stadium truck?

Also, as someone with rc experience, would a 1/18th be fun?

Basically, would making the move to a smaller truck be fun, and is that space reasonable for a small, but fun little track for 1/18th.
